Wonderlic Basic Skills Test
The Wonderlic Basic Skills Test (WBST) eliminates the question of basic language and math skills proficiency in a candidate by measuring fundamental, job-related quantitative and verbal skills as defined by the U.S. Department of labor in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT).
Quantitative skills are measured in terms of practical mathematical applications. Verbal ability is measured in terms of reading comprehension, word knowledge, grammar and sentence construction.:
GETTING STARTED IS EASY

1 Test your job candidate .  It only takes 45 minutes to complete the composite version. 

2 Score the test and print a WBST Individual Score Report using the scoring diskette in your WBST package.  Scoring takes just a couple of minutes.

3 Interpet the candidate's skill level score by comparing it to the minimum score required for the job or training program.  Minimum required skill levels are available for each of the over 12,000 positions published by the U.S. Department of labor in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT).
