The seven primary personality traits are as follows:

PRIMARY PERSONALITY TRAITS MEASURED BY THE CPPQ

     The CPPQ compares an individual's standing on each of seven primary personality traits to that of other people within the normative database.

     In addition to describing the person in terms of each trait, the CPPQ also generates a narritive summary of strengths, improvement opportunities and supervisory recommendations for every trait.

EMOTIONAL INTENSITY  How a person comes across in terms of intensity, activity level and energy.

INTUITION  The degree to which a person relies on experience and feelings to make decisions and solve problems.

RECOGNITION MOTIVATION  The need for status, prestige or acknowledgement and the individual's level of self-motivation.

SENSITIVITY  The degree to which one expressively demonstrates warmth for others.

ASSERTIVENESS  The ability to control the actions of others in business situations.

TRUST  A measure of one's perception of other people and the world in general.

EXAGGERATION  The degree to which individuals exaggerate strengths or downplay weaknesses to appear more favorable to others.

SECONDARY PERSONALITY TRAITS

     The CPPQ also provides measurements of Secondary Personality Traits based on combinations of the primary ones. These offer additional job-related information and insight.
